AN STRENGTH

My introduction to AN Strength started as a job opportunity to work with a dedicated customer whose job is to help people achieve their fitness goals. As a personal coach and Nutrition Science student Amit Nagar helps you do just that!

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

Amit is not only a coach, but she “walks the walk and talks the talk”, with years of experience in fitness as a whole. Bodybuilding is a big part of her journey, and Powerlifting became her main sport for now.

She also has an Instagram page in which you can further learn about her experience, knowledge, and personal views as well.

What was the process like?

The interaction was, believe it or not, through messaging! Amit had an idea in mind, she presented a brief for the project, along with core qualities that need to be shown within the brand.

Project brief

Design a logo featuring a woman holding a barbell on her traps, with a weight plate in the background resembling Rogue branding. Incorporate a subtle nod to nutrition. Typography should be clean and feature the text “AN STRENGTH.”

Core values

  • Persona is a woman
  • Execution of an exercise with a barbell behind the woman’s neck.
  • Nutrition related items.
  • Sans-Serif typography.

The design for the “AN” part of the typography came from a reference for the logo, which was turned into the final bold design of AN Strength. The typeface used is “Source Sans Variable”, with a weight of SemiBold, to further provide a strong structure to the logo.
