Why Romania?

It is undoubtedly one of my favorite places to explore. Whether you visit in winter time or summer, you are guaranteed an intriguing experience. From stunning scenery, to rich and captivating history, the country offers plenty to discover.

In this project, I highlighted several remarkable locations I had the pleasure of visiting during my trip. Each site holds its own unique story and beauty, making my journey truly unforgettable. While I have focused on a select few destinations, I must mention that there were countless other amazing places I explored and many more I did not include. Romania is a treasure trove of experiences, and I encourage you to seek out your own adventures beyond the highlights I presented here.

Locket by Crumb

The visuals for the song Locket create a psychedelic and surreal experience that captures the journey of a group of friends. The song cover features vibrant, swirling colors that pulse and flow, reflecting the shared emotions of their adventure. I have designed a new cover that incorporates the recurring imagery of reflective marbles and hazy setting of the song. I highly recommend listening to the track and watching the accompanying clip, as it is the perfect soundtrack for moments when you seek a calm mind.

Saw poster

WARNING

This film contains disturbing content, viewer discretion is advised. Unless you are a horror film enthusiast, in which case – grab some popcorn and get ready for a wild ride through one of the most memorable pieces of the genre!

“Saw” is a chilling and innovative horror franchise that took the genre by storm, marking a new era of psychological terror. Created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell, the original 2004 film introduced audiences to an unforgiving and twisted world of moral dilemmas, gut-wrenching suspense, and shocking plot twists. At its heart, “Saw” isn’t just about gore, but rather the psychological torment inflicted on its characters—and by extension, its viewers—forcing them to confront their deepest fears and darkest choices.

The marketing for the first film perfectly captured this sinister atmosphere. While the original “Saw” posters were deceptively simple, their minimalistic design was an eerie reflection of the film’s underlying tension. In my redesign of the iconic poster, I’ve taken a fresh approach by blending key visual elements from the film with a style that pays homage to the haunting nature of the original. The new design incorporates elements like the infamous reverse bear trap, the dimly lit setting of the room, and the sense of entrapment—all while introducing updated typography. The result is a poster that not only captures the essence of “Saw” but elevates it—adding an extra layer of intensity that mirrors the film’s unforgettable atmosphere.
